Wiley Metal Can Work With The Material You Want To Use

From austenitic and ferritic grades of stainless steel to aerospace-grade aluminum, we work with a wide range of materials. We’re a one-stop shop for fabrication that cuts, welds, and shapes sheet, plate, section, and extruded material to the precise requirements of the most exacting customers. And for projects that require materials other than metal, our experience extends to various composites and even foam.

Extensive Fabrication Capabilities

Whether your fabrication requires ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal, or a combination, we have experience in stamping, laser cutting, bending, and welding it. We work with a wide range of stainless, mild, and alloy steels and aluminum from the 5000, 6000, and 7000 series as well as copper, brass, and other materials.

Our wide-ranging fabrication capabilities let us work with sheet as thin as 28 gauge and plate up to 1 ½” thick. We handle all types of section and extrusion at almost any length. Our specific capabilities include:

  • Laser cutting – sheet sizes up to 60” x 120” and up to 3/4″ thickness (depending on the material)
  • Burning – plate from 3/4″ to 1.5″ thick
  • Water jet cutting – plate up to 3″ thick
  • Foam Profiling
  • Stamping – sheet steel and aluminum up to 99” x 50” without repositioning clamps
  • Routing – all types of material
  • Press brake bending – up to a maximum capacity of 500 tons and 15’ wide

Quality and Value

Every type and grade of metal has a distinct character. Burring, springback, work-hardening, grain/orientation, and cracking are just some of the challenges to address. And when it comes to welding, the problems only become more numerous.

We’ve been in fabrication for a long time and we understand how to work with many different materials. Plus, the people who work here have many years of experience. By combining their skills with our engineering capabilities and advanced production machinery, we’re able to deliver consistent results, to print, time after time. Ask us to quote your next project.

Featured Service: Laser Cutting and Waterjet Cutting

Laser cutting and waterjet cutting allow us to create cutting edge (pun intended) products that reach specs that are impressive. These procedures allow us to also work with materials like hot-rolled and cold-rolled steels, galvanized materials, stainless, and aluminum alloys and extrusions, as well as many varieties of tubing, expanded metals, bar stock, fasteners and hardware items.
