Our Material Processing Capabilities

We can process sheet material with fiber or plasma lasers, or punch complex
geometries from C5 Turret or Whitney. Additionally, we have abrasive methods and saws for when those yield a better result.

Our Material Processing Technology

With two independent and autonomous laser cells, we have incredible flexibility. These machines process sheet and plate of all types and their narrow kerf and minimal heat zones, when coupled with dynamic nesting, allow for maximum material efficiency. We have recently invested in an additional 10kW fiber laser, and this technology cuts thicker material faster than ever.

Our Whitney plasma punch delivers high-speed and high-quality results and allows us to process heavier materials with speed and accuracy.

Despite advances in laser cutting, punching is still important in fabrication and material processing. Our CNC turret punches run fast and leave smooth edges, producing complex shapes from a variety of sheet materials. With certain materials, such as composites, we employ our 5-axis water jet, ensuring pen-point accuracy and paint ready results.

Our Materials Expertise

Ferrous, non-ferrous, and even expandable metals: we work with a very wide range of materials. We understand the materials and how they are manipulated, the impact of grain direction, and reflectivity. We work with a wide range of material thickness (1/64”) up to 1” thick and process sheet sizes, up to 60” x 144”. If you need something fabricated that seems unusual, ask us.
